Nothing like treating yourself to a beautiful bouquet of flowers or maybe you know of someone who needs a surprise gift. The Jungle General StoreYou will find everything from fresh local vegetables and BC fruit to preserves in our store. We have some local crafts such as willow garden accessories and birdhouses. If you need a cold drink or ice cream during your visit you will find that in our store as well. Fall AmenitiesCorn Maze – This maze is easy to find your way through but if you follow the rules of no left turns becomes quite a challenge. Farm animals – You must watch our goats navigate the goat walk or feed the chickens or sheep on your visit to The Jungle Farm. This year the favorite is going to be our super friendly black and white cat. He can not be petted enough in one day. Pumpkin Slingshot - New last year this popular slingshot can become quite a contest amongst you competitive people to see who can shoot the farthest or most accurate. You get 3 pumpkins for $1.00. Bull Roping - Step right into our roping arena – don’t be too scared the bull hasn’t charged anyone yet. We have had a number of excellent cowboys visit our farm and show their rope handling techniques. Scarecrow Factory – You can make your own scarecrow and leave the mess and clean up to us. You are welcome to bring a favorite family shirt to personalize your scarecrow but all the supplies are available including the straw. Each scarecrow is $10.00. Come build your whole family to display on your lawn – or enter into the Scarecrow Festival in Innisfail on Thanksgiving Weekend. Kids are welcome at The Jungle Farm!There is an unsupervised kids' play area with a number of wooden play structures (New in 2009) plus our popular train and sandbox. Our trike track is still a great race location. Gerald (our 6-year old) has completed a lot of trial runs on the asphalt track. He says it is awesome as long as you don't get going too fast on the curves. Back by popular demand is our ball corral. Even adults venture in to try this one out sometimes.
